Non Profits

Animal Friends – No-kill shelter offering a second chance to homeless, unwanted, and abused animals

Outdoor Classroom-located in Boyce Mayview Park, classes and programs connecting people to the environment

Animal Rescue League and Wildlife Center – shelter plus wildlife rehab

Conservation Consultants Inc – founded in 1978, CCI’s mission is to promote responsible energy and resource use

Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh – providing sunspot viewing(weather permitting), and information on energy conservation, light pollution, star parties, etc.

Mt Lebanon Municipality – Public Works will provide information on garbage/recycling programs.

Girl Scouts of Western PA

Many Mt. Lebanon Girl Scouts troops will be participating in Earth Day with many “green” demonstrations and crafts for children and adults!


Zero Waste Pittsburgh  

Their participation will enable us to reduce our waste for this years event by recycling and composting most of the waste generated form the event. Our food vendors will be using compostable service ware to almost eliminate items that go to the landfills.
